Our Coworkers
The job of tribal church planting is a difficult one, and to do it alone would be nearly impossible. We’re so thankful to the Lord that He has brought us another couple with whom to work. For the next several years we will be neighbors, friends and coworkers as we work to plant tribal churches. We hope that this information about our co-workers helps you to pray more knowledgably for the ministry.
Ryan: I was born and raised in Stuart, Florida. I came to know the Lord when I was 18 through the youth ministry of my local church. After high school, I attended Palm Beach Atlantic College, and it was there that God put on me a burden for the lost and directed me into full time ministry. Not knowing where God would have me be involved I attended New Tribes Bible Institute to get a solid Biblical foundation. As the first year passed God showed me that He wanted me to be involved with reaching tribal people with the Gospel.
Nicki: I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. During my senior year in high school, my parents felt that God had laid it on their hearts to move to Papua New Guinea and become associate missionaries with New Tribes Mission. With a lot of prayer and support, we moved to Papua New Guinea and it was there that I graduated high school and had my first taste of life on the foreign mission field. I moved back to Canada shortly after graduation and about two years later decided to go to New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan where I figured I would get solid Bible teaching. It was there that God began to tug on my heart to be involved in full-time missionary work.
Ryan and Nicki have two children, Joseph (born in January 2002) and Sydney (born in July 2004). Their email address is ryan_coleman@ntm.org. Please keep them as well as us in your prayers!
