Praise God:
- Praise God for our successfully completing our language evaluation! After a 4 hour "live check" with our language helper Pol, our language evaluator said that we both did very well. He also said that our skills are such that we could probably be considered done with our formal language study, but he recommended continuing on for another few weeks just to get even more fluent. Thanks so much for praying!
- Praise God for safety in our recent travels to the Maleu tribe where we were able to spend time encouraging the missionaries there and fellowshipping with the tribal believers.
- Praise God for our language helper, Pol, and his continued willingness to sit with us for long hours as we learn the Melanesian Pidgin language and culture.
- Praise God as He continues to show us what it is to live and minister each day in His strength and not our own.
Please Pray:
- Please pray for Adam and Ryan Coleman as they do initial planning for a visit to the Akolet tribe, a group that has in the past expressed interest in having missionaries come and live with them.
- Please pray for wisdom as we are discussing with a third missionary family the possibility of their joining us and the Colemans in our future tribal work.
